Nas new album cover

For months now there has been anticipation of this particular album from Mr. Jones. Not for the lyrical content, the mind boggling metaphores, witty punchlines, and tracks about the struggle that most of us identify with. Instead the hype is the controversial name that Nas chose for the album, N*gger.(pictured below courtesy of AHH)

I personally question the motivation of this but think it is an ingenious marketing strategy. Any and e'erybody is going to grab that album or at least want to hear what it is about because of the title itself. The image itself is a nice one for Nas I think, more of a businessman/intellectual feel than a block hustler club banging album. But none the less we will see. What do y'all think?

Raz B Recants!

I knew this story was bound to heat up and I'd be damn if it hasn't. Last night, Raz B released a video claiming that the videos in which he made molestation allegations against his cousin Chris Stokes and Marques Houston were false and were leaked without his permission. He goes on to apologize for any harm the rumor has caused to either party. (See video below)

WTF?? One minute he's claiming his ass hurts and the next he's saying the whole things was false. Ionkno but someone needs an ass whoopin! I guess people will do anything to get those support checks started back up. From this surprise recantation we can assume either Stokes has began to help the brothers out again as they requested, or the threats of legal action from Stokes and his team have scared lil Raz into bitchin up. Either way, this story still needs to be investigated to find out if these children were really hurt or not.

He's Going Down! Jock late for arraignment

Atlanta rapper Young Jock, born Jasiel Robinson, was scheduled to appear in a Cleveland Municipal Courtroom today on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, a third degree felony. Young Jock was arrested Sunday after trying to leave Cleveland International Airport on a Delta Airlines flight, loaded gun in tow. He was given and posted a $50,000 bond on Monday and ordered back into court 12/26 for his arraignment.

Young Jock in his glory was to busy trying to bring the 80's back so he missed the call of the docket, at which point prosecutors sought the issuance of an arrest warrant which was granted. The warrant was later recalled by the presiding judge, Judge Michael Ryan. Although Judge Ryan expressed that was not pleased with the rapper's fashionably late appearance, he would let his $50,000 bond remain. Young Jock is due back in court January 25, 2008.

Uh Oh! I smell trouble for Pokie Stokie!

This shouldn't come as news to anyone, but seems like this cold beef between Raz B, Ricky Romance and Chris Stokes is about to heat up. Lil birds are saying that investigators at the LAPD are interested in speaking with the pair of accusers regarding some of the allegations that they made in a video released earlier this week.

Seems like investigators are interested in the claims of alleged molestation that Raz B and Rick eluded to. Though it is widely speculated that the two have ulterior motives and that this is a ploy to extort money from the TUG CEO. As this story gets more interesting, I will be sure to drop the latest.

From what I have learned, the entire family needs to be investigated. If this is true, allot of people have been knowing this pervert, alleged pervert, was touching their babies and didn't give a damn. And that in itself should constitute child neglect charges, if nothing else for exposing them knowingly to an environment where they were being abused, if this is true. I can't stress that enough.

Parents, that is why it is important to have an open relationship with your child, where they can talk to you freely. 'Cuz I wish a fool would........

All that I can say is "Wow!" You wouldn't think they had access to the internet in trailer parks but you would be surprised how comfortable these bigots feel spewing their hate from the security of their computer. Knowing damn well, they'd shit a goat before they would actually man to man call a person of color that offensive word. If you correctly look of the word nigger in the dictionary, the word in its original format had nothing to do with people of color until someone perverted that, attaching hate and stigma to the word, ensuring that it would go down as one of the most hurtful, controversial racial slurs in history. Seeing as though my "word of the day" posts are done to offer a balance between the rumors and offer a bit of fact; a bit of truth and logic, I be posting the definition of the word here. Jay Z Officially Leaving Def Jam

After months of speculation, from rumors of a joint label with his longtime girlfriend Beyonce, failed contract negotiations and a supposed marriage, Jay Z has announced that he is stepping down as Def Jam president and return to reign on these hoes in the rap game.

On Christmas eve. Jigga man finally ended the speculation saying that he was leaving Def Jam because it was time for him to "take on more challenges." Although Jay Z's boss man L.A. Reid expressed that the Jigga Man will definitely be missed in the "executive capacity," I can't say that his fellow label mates share those same sentiments.

There has been widespread dissatisfaction with the way certain artists signed to Def Jam were being marketed and promoted. I don't think it was a wise decision for Def Jam to consider an artist that is recording and working on their own projects to market and be responsible for the success of other rappers on the label. The old "crabs in a bucket theory" will always rear its ugly head. But as for Jay, I think the move was nothing but business and proved to be a damn wise one.

Seeing as though he went from making $32 million dollars topping Forbes Hip Hop Moguls list in 2006 to opening a new 40/40 club in Las Vegas. Stokes Slaps Back! Denies Allegations of Pedophilia

Chris Stokes has come out blasting back in response to allegations that he conducted himself in any inappropriate manner. And he's threatening to snatch welfare checks and EBT cards, so we best tread lightly on this subject. In a statement released today through his lawyer denying the incidents in their entirety.

"The accusations that Demario 'Raz B' Thorton and Ricardo Thorton have made are vehemently false and hold no merit," Stokes said in a statement. "I have recently stopped financially supporting both individuals along with assisting them with their criminal and legal matters, which leads me to believe they are resentful and looking to benefit financially from this."My family is my first priority and the reason why I have been so supportive of them. In bringing these false claims, they have not only slandered me, they have also put me in a position to ensure that the truth is known and I will take all legal routes to protect myself, my family and my four children," he continued.

"It's also quite ironic that these statements were made only two weeks after they were denied admittance by a venue for an event I hosted in Beverly Hills," Stokes said.

Yesterday the news outlets and gossip pages everywhere were reporting that former B2K member Raz B, and his brother Ricky Romance had released a video making explosive allegations regarding their cousin, TUG Entertainment CEO Chris Stokes. In the video(see previous post) Raz B and his brother make several allegations regarding sexual abuse of the two men that would have occurred prior to them reaching their 18th birthday. In most states this is statutory rape, and from what has been described, sodomy, although we here at Oh Hell Naw! are not experienced in the legalities of such issues.

During one part of the video, Stokes can be heard saying that he "has changed" and "doesn't do those things anymore." What he changed from and stopped doing, only he and those who were involved know.

Oh No! Raz B Comes Out Of The Closet Swinging!

I had originally decided that I would officially begin blogging following the new year, but today I heard some rumbling that caused my *ish meter to go off the chart, and you know I have to give the 411 and my personal opinion on this one.

A video featuring former B2K member, DeMario "Raz B" Thornton, has flooded the internet and blog sites. If you thought B2K was your average tween boy band, you were wrong, that's for damn sure. At least according to the accusations being tossed out by Raz B and his brother Ricky Romance, who both happen to be blood related cousins of Chris Stokes, who stands accused in this whole mangled mess of fuckery. Well, enough of my rambling and here is the nasty dish best served cold:

Raz B and his brother Ricky have both made allegations that they have had sexual encounters with their manager/cousin, Chris Stokes. Stokes, CEO of TUG(The Ultimate Group) who was the manager of B2k and other groups such as Immature/IMX, Marques Houston, Mila J and Omarion has long been suspected of his inappropriate acts with some of the members and some say he was the main reason behind the breakup of B2K. In the video(posted below) Ricky Romance admits that after allegedly being a victim of his nasty ass cuzzo's pedophilia that he naively took his brother and put him in the same environment with Stokes, eluding that he knew what was happening to these boys.

But this is where things begin to get interesting to me, not that a child being molested to me is interesting, but 'chile, dirt is dirt. Lock his ass up and let's talk! Damn, digressing...anyways.. Over a expletive laced phone conversation between Marcus' father and sister, who also is a "get it gal" expresses his hurt and physical pain regarding the issue. Even referring to his ass "hurting" and that being "no joke."

The pair claims that on separate occasions they were made to shower with other individuals and have hotel sex orgies. Raz claims that it started as Chris asking him to "Let him touch him." He claims that he had a form of Stockholm syndrome, commonly referred to as being brainwashed.

Being that he claims they were 11 and 12 years old at the time of this supposed abuse, these children were easily impressionable and the thought of any grown rusty ass individual taking advantage of them in such a way is disgusting. So keep in mind they were children at the time and bear little or no responsibility for them being raped by a pedophile.

In the video Stokes is heard expressing that he has "changed, and isn't that way anymore" which made me wanna windmill his fucking eyebrows back! From the what I hear, and you know, you ain't heard this from me, but, 'ole Pokey Stokey been inspecting decks and handling sausage since before IMX, and resulted in some criminal charges being pressed. But, ionknow, so, yakno.

But what I do know is Marques and Omarion love them some Chris Stokes. Heard Chris be bitch slapping fools if they get outta line, spazzing out if they don't do everything together, seeing as though they all live together. And Marcus, longtime suspected employee of the sausage packing factory, buys him expensive gifts, has long been suspected Stokes' financial supporter and launch pad, and *coughs* bedroom buddy. *smh, watching the decline*

I really feel sorry for those babies, especially that silly ass Omarion, still connected to the hip with Stokes sick ass even after rumors swirled that issues like this amongst other financial quarrels, were what led to B2K's break up from the get go. Lawd, what's wrong with these churrin??

*Smh at Raz claiming that they shouldn't have had to do sexual favors to be in the good with Stokes. I know one thing for sure, someones prosecutions office better be working OT to get this fool his Christmas gift, silver bracelets and some bigger balls for him to fondle. And hey, you know that bartering system works in the joint so he should be all good. I just know, somebody better get his sick ass, and quick. Let's see how this unfolds, and you know what, from the looks of things, 2008 is going to be a hell of a year!
