Today is the day we celebrate Dr. King's birth, life, and legacy. His fight and so many others paved the way for black people to live in this country without the fear of harrassment and violence. His dream of equal rights for black people was made a reality before he left us, though 40 years later, he is still an influence in major events today. Dr. King was an advocate for those downtrodden and scared to speak out. He was courageous and gave his life for the cause; so that you and I can love each other unconditionally, and judge each other "not by the color of our skin, but by the content of our character."
R.I.P. Dr. King. We love you!!
