Are they really friend or foe? This happened a while ago, but going with the theme today, I figured it plays into the bigger picture. These djs and the mixtapes that they sell help to garner promotion for any unknown talents that we probably wouldn't have been exposed to otherwise. They should be respected for their craft, the importance of the dj has fallen in the hip hop community, but is a necessary element to the continuing of spreading of our genre on a large scale. Not to mention the parties they rock in the 'jects. These fools better rec!
